3/23/2005 - Building the Tag
Past week we finished building one access point using a key pad, LCD, PIC microcontroller and an RF transceiver. As the first stage testing we tested the PICs ability to communicate with the LCD and Key pad through RS 232. We had to change some of the capacitors in the circuit since it was producing a high noise at the output. But after these small alterations the circuit started communicating with the computer via serial port. As the next step we would build a tag and make it communicate with the access point and test the RSSI value.
Omar Elsahy:
Helped building the prototype
Purchased necessary parts of the access point
Worked on the validation review
