11/10/2004 - Bluetooth specification research
During this week the team spent more time on the Bluetooth specification research. Each member was assigned a specific task for CDR. Due to the lack of funding a new team plan had to be made in order to find new funding and to work with the allocated amount of money. The initial plan of finishing the access point by December had to be pushed to January due to the funding problem.
Omar Elsahy:
• Assigned each team member a part of the CDR
• Researched on dealers of Bluetooth in Florida
• Looked for more funding options
• Worked on the CDR
Fernando Souto:
• Worked on the CDR
• Spoke to some professionals about Bluetooth development
• Designed a plan to carry out the project
Ajit Gaddam:
• Worked on CDR
Aldwin Saugere:
• Worked on redesigning the web site
Anand Mehta
• Worked on the CDR
Milinda Wathugula
• Looked at designs for possible access point, the microprocessor and the Bt chip how we could have them interact with each other.
• Looked at some memory options
• Understood the development kit specifications and how it will help us
• Looked at some programming options
Thanujan Ratnarajah
• Started working on the CDR
• Spoke to some of the professors at school about Bluetooth and funding options
• Planned a new management scheme for the project
• Called some dealers of Bluetooth to find more details of the chips
• Worked on the schematic design of the tag
